LBD Commercial Cleaning is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Telehandler Forklift Operator to join our team at the LH Battery industrial construction site in Jeffersonville, OH. This position is essential to safely moving and staging materials across the jobsite, supporting the overall flow of work for project crews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a telehandler forklift to lift, transport, and position materials and equipment on-site
- Load and unload deliveries with precision and care
- Support construction crews by relocating materials to designated areas
- Keep jobsite organized by clearing pathways and staging materials properly
- Perform daily inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Adhere to all safety procedures and site-specific guidelines
- Assist with light labor tasks when equipment is not in use, as needed
Requirements:
- Valid telehandler or rough terrain forklift operator certification (required)
- Experience operating telehandler forklifts on construction or industrial sites
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and load handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Works well independently and with others in a fast-paced environment
