Job Description
LBE, Inc. is looking for an architect with 5 years of experience in an architecture firm. Candidate must be able to produce a set of construction documents with minimal assistance. Design work will include new construction and renovation projects across federal, commercial, and industrial business sectors.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree from a NAAB accredited program
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks accurately, effectively, and confidently
Basic understanding of:
- Design solution development
- Building systems, detailing, and technology
- Applicable codes, life safety requirements, regulations, and standards
- Differing building types and project delivery methods
- Programming and planning methods
Architectural registration; South Carolina preferred
Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Desired Experience
- Experience working on federal projects with knowledge of the UFC and the UFGS
- LEED Credentials
- Experience in SpecsIntact
- NCARB Certification
- Master of Architecture
Responsibilities Include:
- Design and production work including architectural detailing through construction documents – using Revit
- Perform field verification and travel to sites [May travel (<10%) to customer sites for field inspections.]
- Developing specifications in SpecsIntact
- Perform construction administration activities – responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and other related activities
- Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary by supervisor
- Performing QA/QC Reviews when assigned
- Establish and implement standards, processes, procedures, and workflows
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position does not have the option for remote work, it is an in office position at our Moncks Corner, SC location. Candidates must be local or intending on relocating to the area.
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
