Certification Details ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support BLS - Basic Life Support PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support NIH Stroke Scale TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement CEU's - Continuing Education Units Job Details Must have min 2 years of acute facility experience. MUST have previous Level I / II trauma experience. This is a fast paced 77 bed Level II trauma Emergency Dept. with 13 of those beds being Peds. There are 6 trauma rooms as well as a 13 bed Rapid Evaluation Unit. Advanced EKG testing required provided by the agency through Prophecy Relias. This exam must be completed before the nurse can attend Orientation. Schedule is done in 4 week blocks. Travelers work every other weekend, as well as a minimum of one Monday and one Friday in the 4 week block. The rest of the shifts are placed where our needs are the highest.
