What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Operator I - Westminster - Full-Time position at LBS Financial Credit Union?

We’d like to welcome a Computer Operator I who will have the responsibility of performing a variety of computer operations, including, but not limited to daily and monthly reports and checklists, system backups, maintenance of server updates, help desk requests, and maintenance of computer room and computer room equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Following the daily shift documentation, processes all Datasafe daily batch jobs. Prints (or sends to Optical), archives, and distributes related reports. Includes daily ACH batch processing, Share Draft batch processing, and FICS mortgage system batch processing.
- Maintains Datasafe and LBS Financial runtime documentation library, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Launches ISE Enterprise Schedule job scheduler script processes.
- Maintains and updates ISE Enterprise Schedule scripts after obtaining approval by the SVP Information Systems via the Change Management System.
- Participates in troubleshooting problems with daily and monthly Datasafe jobs and/or system hardware.
- Must be available to help resolve Datasafe processing errors after hours and on weekends, as directed by the SVP Information Systems.
- Receives and processes electronic transmissions from outside business partners, ensuring that all files transmitted and received are encrypted and secure.
- Notifies SVP Information Systems of any processing errors.
- Notifies the SVP Information Systems and of any equipment maintenance/repair needs.
- Transmits files to BDI and other business partners using secure FTP.
- Lifts and moves 50 lb. boxes of paper and other computer forms.
- Able to work flexible hours at the discretion of the SVP Information Systems, including periodic shift rotations, and is expected to periodically work an all-night shift in order to perform month-end processing.
- Assist with installation of PC, thin client, printer, wiring and server upgrades as directed by the SVP Information Systems.
- Answers support related phone calls and emails from members and employees.
- Ensures shift-related system backups are completed and secured.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES
- Two (2) years College Degree preferably with course related to computers and data processing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the operations of a financial institution, preferably a Credit Union.
- Sound and responsible judgment.
- Previous experience operating computer equipment.
- Able to give meticulous attention to detail.

PAY RANGE
In accordance with California’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:
$20.00 - $24.11
Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate’s specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.
