Job Description
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and beauty of our clients' lawns by managing weed control, fertilization, and overall lawn care. They will identify and address weeds and other lawn health concerns through proper treatment, ensuring that lawn care practices are environmentally responsible and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers to control weeds and promote healthy lawn growth
- Conduct regular lawn inspections to assess lawn health and identify weeds, pests, and diseases
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and operate specialized equipment used in weed control and lawn health treatments
- Monitor irrigation and safely handle and store chemicals according to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in lawn care, weed control, or pest management preferred
- Knowledge of turfgrass health, soil science, and plant care practices preferred
- Ability to apply herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers in a safe and effective manner
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
