Essential Functions and Duties:
- Install and wire BAS Controllers and field devices, and as you grow the team in your area, supervise the installation of building automation systems
- Install and terminate low voltage cables
- Work independently and be able to coordinate job installation and completion with internal team as well as other contractors and subcontractors
- Maintain an efficient, safe, and organized job site
- Attend product training classes to develop, maintain and enhance building systems and controls expertise
- Assist with job commissioning, start-up procedures, and owner training as necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in the BAS / controls industry
- Previous experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems required
- Experience in the building automation controls industry
- Proficient at bending and installing conduit up to 1" in diameter
- Ability to organize and direct co-workers
- Ability to work well with building owners and various contractors and vendors
- Ability to read blue prints and wiring schematics required
- Basic mathematical and communication skills
- Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Availability to work overtime, varied shift hours, and out of town as needed
- Ability to pass federal background check
- Current driver’s license and clean driving record
