Why You Want This Job
- Three-day weekends! 4/10’s with a 30-minute lunch
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday - 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- Starting Pay: $22.55/hour
- This is a temp-to-hire position that has long-term health and benefits package including 401k options with employer matching funds
- Serve as Planer backup for other employees
- Trim end puller and pull chain operator
- Monitor sticker stacker machine
- Notify foreman of any quality problems and any mechanical or electrical problems
- Stack lumber and tally lumber units
- Fill out inventory tickets and edits computer generated inventory tickets
- Sort off-grade and damaged lumber
- Secure lumber units and paper wrap units assisting bander
- Clean and shovel snow under the planer infeed as needed
- Operate forklift, floor sweeper and water truck
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, required
- Knowledge of lumber quality and grades, preferred
- Experience operating machinery, preferred
