Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Resident Care Associates. As a key member of our community, you will provide support and care to our seniors, ensuring their dignity, independence, choice, and individuality are respected.

This is a Full-Time opportunity with various shifts available. Our competitive hourly rate ranges from $20.25 to $23.25 per hour, based on years of experience. If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.

Summary
As a Resident Care Associate, your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care, therapeutic programming, safety, and emotional support to our residents. You will work closely with our team to create a welcoming environment that promotes socialization, physical activity, and spiritual connection. Your role will also involve assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and mobility. Essential Functions
We are looking for a proactive individual who can perform the following tasks:
  1. Promote our mission and core values to residents, visitors, coworkers, and the surrounding community.
  2. Participate in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members, and professionals.
  3. Complete our community's and any State orientation training program before being assigned regular duties.
  4. Assist residents with medications according to State Regulation and LCB Policies, making the required record entries at appropriate times, and making the necessary notifications to the nurse concerning self-administered medications.
  5. Engage residents in meaningful interactions and experiences, providing assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions as needed to help them maintain independence in their activities of daily living.
  6. Monitor changes in resident needs, preferences, and health status, reporting and documenting any noticed changes immediately to the RN or designee.
  7. Assist residents with clothing and laundry needs as per the service plan.
  8. Escort residents to meals and engagement as needed or directed.
  9. Document both scheduled and unscheduled services provided, including incidents, behaviors, and out-of-the-ordinary events, including a resident's refusal of services. Input information into the community computer tracking system regarding services provided to residents.
  10. Conduct and facilitate programming, including therapeutic groups and individual interaction, that offer cognitive stimulation, socialization, physical activity, and spiritual connection.
