Opportunity to join LCB SENIOR LIVING, LLC as a Staff Accountant
The senior living industry continues to grow rapidly, and so is LCB Senior Living (www.lcbseniorliving.com), located in Norwood, MA. LCB Senior Living, LLC develops, acquires, owns and manages senior living communities in the Northeast and MidAtlantic.
Due to our rapid growth, we are looking to expand our Accounting/Financial team. This is great opportunity to join a growing company with an amazing culture.
The main responsibilities for the Staff Accountant are:
- Manage all full-cycle accounts payable processing for property portfolio
- Assist in several aspects of the general ledger; book journal entries, bank reconciliations, journal entry uploads and basic updates of monthly audit files
- Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts, including Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accrued Expenses
- Assist Property Accountants with month-end and year-end close as well as external audit preparation
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and financial statement preparation for a portfolio of company-owned investment properties
The main qualifications for the Staff Accountant are:
- 0-1 years of accounting experience in the General Ledger
- Strong Excel capabilities
- High level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and attention to detail required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
