Certification Details

Job Details
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical (MSTele/PCU) environment. Epic system experience is mandatory. Previous travel experience is preferred. The staff-to-patient ratio for this position is 1:5 to 1:6. Weekend shifts are required, while on-call responsibilities are not. Holidays must be worked, including Mardi Gras week and two out of the three winter holidays. Float assignments may include MS/Tele/PCU units across all five units, requiring MSTele and PCU experience. Specifically, candidates must have experience working in a cardiac tele unit with medications such as cardiazem, amiodarone, and other set rate drips.
Job Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess BLS, NIH, and ACLS certifications. CPI certification is preferred but not required. A valid government-issued photo ID is essential, and the name on the ID must match all documentation provided by the candidate.
Unit Specific Information
The successful candidate will interpret ECG strips and make informed clinical decisions regarding cardiac medication administration and drip titration.
