At LCMC Health West Jefferson Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team. As a member of our neurology department, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those suffering from stroke, vascular surgeries, and spinal cord injuries.
Job Overview:
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in MS/Tele/Neuro and must possess Epic experience.
- A strong background in neurology is required, with the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, CVA, pre/post neuro surgery, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.
- Additional responsibilities include working within a 1:6 ratio, with weekend requirements and no on-call duties.
- Float and holiday coverage are also expected.
Required Certifications and Skills:
- BLS, NIH, and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Experience with RTO <5 days or add time to end of contract.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
Our Neuro/Stroke Patient Population includes patients with stroke, vascular surgeries, multi-level back surgeries, CABG, and ECMO. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret and manage these conditions effectively.
