Critical Care Travel Nurse Opportunity
LCMC Health West Jefferson Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing expert care to patients with acute neurological conditions.
Responsibilities
As a critical care nurse in our neuro/stroke unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs. Your duties will include interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, managing CVAs, and providing pre/post-neuro surgery care. You will also be required to work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must hold a current BLS, NIH, and ACLS certification. Experience working in a similar setting and proficiency in Epic are also required. You will be working on nights shifts, with a 1:6 ratio, and will be required to work weekends. Float and holiday rotations are also mandatory. Scrubs should be worn in navy and white combinations. An I9 form and government-issued photo ID are required for this position. Subcontractors will need to complete a Lotus I9 attestation.
