Job Overview
As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care to patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
- Assess and manage patients' needs, developing individualized care plans that address their physical, emotional, and psychological requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, adhering to relevant regulations and standards
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in neurological care
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MS/Tele/Neuro Departments
- Epic System Experience Required
- Strong Neurological Knowledge Required
- 1:6 Staff-to-Patient Ratio
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- No On-Call Shifts
- Float Assignments: Yes
- Holidays: Worked at least 2 of 3 holidays
Workplace Guidelines
- Dress Code: Navy Blue and White Scrubs Combination
Employment Requirements
- Required Certifications: BLS, NIH, and ACLS
- Return to Office (RTO): Less than 5 days or extended contract duration
