Driver- Jeffersonville/ New Albany and Surrounding Area

Overview:
Under the Area Manager's supervision, TCS drivers transport passengers to appointments, ensuring safety and timeliness. Drivers maintain professionalism, adhere to TCS policies, and focus on customer service, vehicle maintenance, and proactive assistance.

Shift & Schedule:

• Sunday to Saturday, 4-5 days per week as Full-Time Employee (FTE).
• Possible overtime (5-10 hours weekly).

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport members to and from appointments.
• Plan trips using a tablet/device to ensure on-time arrivals.
• Complete daily driver logs and required paperwork accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, mechanics, and management.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues.
• Provide professional, courteous service and assist with mobility challenges (e.g., wheelchair transport).

Working Conditions:

• Vehicles: Company Provided: Toyota Sienna, Chrysler Pacifica, Ford Transit vans, or similar.
• Occasional on-call shifts and physical tasks (lifting, snow shoveling, assisting with wheelchair transport).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Indiana Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to use transportation technology (mobile/tablet).
• Strong communication skills and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Daily travel required.

• Zero missed trips/provider no-shows.
• Maintain trip efficiency (e.g., 2 trips/hr for urban ambulatory).
• Achieve 90% safety scores with no at-fault accidents.
• 95% on-time drop-off and pick-up rate.
