What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Specialist, Sr - Transmission Services position at LCRA?
You qualify with :
- Nine or more years of experience in companywide and / or operational training and development programs or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in human resource management, business administration, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver’s license
- Previous experience working in a technical industry designing, developing, and delivering learning and development programs.
- Experience with Quality Training Databases (QTD) & learning management systems.
- Advanced communication skills, including verbal and written across organizations.
- Skill in forming relationships with employees at all levels of organizations establishing credibility, trust, and partnership.
- Skilled in implementing standard processes and incorporating current trends in a practical manner that fits the organization's requirements.
- Customer Service minded
- Skill in developing and maintaining relationships and networks with a diverse group of collaborators to achieve business objectives.
- Skill in providing oversight and maintaining effective internal controls.
- Skill in effectively handling opposing priorities and collaborating with multiple groups to find a solution.
- Intermediate skill level in office efficiency applications (i.e., email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Advanced presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing business and regulatory environments.
- Ability to work with a team and foster teamwork.
- Ability to act in an ethical manner at all times and maintain confidentiality.
