Compensation
- Starting Pay: $28.00/hour (DOE) commission.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, assess their service needs, and clearly communicate repair recommendations and estimates.
- Work Order Management: Create accurate repair orders, track job progress, and ensure customers are kept informed of updates.
- Scheduling: Organize service appointments and manage shop workflow for efficient operations.
- Parts Coordination: Order and manage inventory to ensure technicians have the required parts for repairs.
- Fleet & Client Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with fleet accounts to expand Hi-Tech Automotive’s business partnerships.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for all services and repairs performed.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with technicians and management to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Customer Follow-Up: Contact customers about vehicle status, additional services needed, and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or similar role in an automotive setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive repair procedures, terminology, and estimating processes.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Proficient communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details clearly.
- Familiarity with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with fleet account management or business development.
- Knowledge of parts inventory systems and scheduling software.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong cash handling skills.
- Team-oriented mindset, fostering a positive work environment.
