Job Summary:
Salaried position that is responsible for administering and managing day to day operations as it pertains to staffing, customer relations, inventory, and the overall security of the business assets. Position requires a minimum 40-hour work week to ensure optimal coverage including days, nights, and weekends.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and directing retail store operations. Coordinates activities with the Company’s strategic objectives, develops and executes promotional and merchandising programs, and ensures that sales and profit goals are met. Administers day to day store operations including tracking, ordering, and managing inventory, ensuring store security, and maintaining optimal displays of merchandise. Ensures that personnel are efficient, effective, and thoroughly trained, and that customer service is professional, courteous, and timely. Keeps management well informed of retail activities and significant problems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Employee/ Human Relations (Staffing)
- Focus on recruitment and retention of sales motivated team that represents and protects the company reputation and professional standards.
- Focus on training while employing an ongoing learning and educational centric workplace.
- Focus on fostering a result driven sales team that is customer forward and productivity minded.
- Focus on labor budget while keeping adequate staffing for maximum results and working required hours that allow the overall observation of every employee and coverage of all operational hours.
- Focus on professional and confidential communications in all interactions with store team, regional supervisor, and various departments.
- Focus on individual and team results while managing accountabilities for all team’s performance standards and compliance of company procedural guidelines.
- Focus on fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity that is open and transparent to the positive exchange of ideals and company initiatives.
- Focus on compliance standards for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
- Focus on the awareness and implementation of employee incentive programs.
Sales and Marketing (Customer)
- Focus on exceeding individual and team sales goals thru result driven strategies.
- Focus on creating a Customer Service culture that is brand experience and loyalty centric whereas each member of the team is seen as a brand ambassador.
- Focus on the understanding and implantation of sales reporting information and company data to tool the sales approach and training as needed while maintaining confidentiality of all information.
- Focus on creating/maintaining a shopper friendly environment that highlights promotions and product positioning to increase overall sales
- Focus on the use of marketing materials and support platforms such as social media, .com sales, etc to promote the brand and increase overall traffic and sales.
- Focus on accuracy and transparency with all aspects of financial accountability of funds, deposit, and sales reports while keeping organized retention of records and documents.
- Focus on prompt and satisfactory resolution of all customer issues.
Merchandise and Inventory (Product)
- Focus on shoppable and eye appealing visual merchandising while maintaining consistency and flow throughout the store by creating departments and exercising display standards.
- Focus on ensuring accuracy in pricing while being timely with price changes and promotional pricing.
- Focus on accuracy and promptness with inventory receiving, stocking and storage.
- Focus on merchandise levels thru regular walkthroughs, store audits, and communication with Purchasing Department.
- Focus on compliance with all Company mandated Displays and promotions.
- Focus on ensuring the sales team is educated and able to effectively communicate values/benefits of products, programs, and policies as the inventory continues to evolve.
- Focus on timely inventory controls for damaged and unsellable products.
Physical Plant and Security (safety)
- Focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment both inside and outside thru regular walkthroughs and compliance of safety policies and procedures and use of best practices.
- Focus on Cleanliness and organization to ensure an environment where productivity can be maximized.
- Focus on prompt communication for any maintenance issues that might arise and have resources available for problem solving.
- Focus on awareness of the location and operation of all security control devises as well as the ability to communicate issues professionally if they arise.
- Focus on the placement of key products to reduce loss and deter theft.
- Focus on the assignment and management of electronic codes, building security codes, and building access keys for all employees.
- Focus on the accurate, safe handling, and secure storage of all funds and financial records.
Essential Functions:
- Frequent Speaking in order to articulate and convey details or information accurately, loudly, rapidly and professionally.
- Able to hear average or normal conversations in order to receive ordinary information.
- Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to be able to operate machinery and inspect both documents and products.

Education and Experience:
Qualified candidates should have earned a high school diploma with an additional two-Year degree or more preferred. A minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory position or related retail sales position is optimal.
