The On Premise Advance Sales Representative will work under general supervision as an outside salesperson to sell company products to licensed accounts, and perform other activities incidental to such sales, including rotating stock, some delivery of products and collection, maintaining customer satisfaction, caring for and maintaining of company equipment and communicating market trends and competitive sales information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieves monthly sales objectives designated by ONP Manager.
Assists with over the top development of entire LDF Portfolio in ONP accounts.
Works closely with On-Premise ASM/Manager, team, and SASAM in account planning, goal setting and execution.
Maintain updated knowledge of complete LDF Portfolio and LDF sales tools (Beermate BWB, iDig, PowerPoint, etc)
Conducts and executes professional sales calls to include product features and benefits, market analysis, programming, and needs/asks.
Sets advance appointments with accounts, followed by leading and executing Crew Drives, Focus Days, Sales Meetings, and Programming initiatives.
Sells and works with Suppliers aligned with LDF goals and objectives.
Manages T&E budgets assigned by manager in accordance with LDF policies and procedures.
Delivers product orders needed before regular delivery, collects payments, and assumes responsibility for safe deposit of same.
Secures promotional price discounts features and night time events with the accounts managers or owners to sell highest achievable volume. Merchandises accounts with current POS materials with clean appearance and in good working order.
Develops and maintains good customer relations and satisfaction; responds to customer's merchandising requests, or product orders, quickly and courteously.
Persuades all customers to accept delivery of increased amounts of inventory and of additional LDF Sales products.
Submits expense reports according to company policy.
Informs customers of all company products sold, including any new products.
Adheres to all established check-in/check-out procedures and policies.
Reports market trends and competitive activity to On Premise ASM/Manager and recommends marketing or sales response, if appropriate.
Assures supplier and LDF Quality Assurance standards and procedures are strictly followed. Issues need to be communicated to appropriate personnel according to company policies.
Safeguards all assigned company products, inventory, vehicles and equipment from theft, abuse, or loss.
Follows specific LDF and supplier product handling, delivery and storage procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensures that all sales practices are in accordance with rules and regulations as defined by the state and federal governing bodies regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Operates Company vehicle according to Fleet Safety Manual and reports any vehicle accident to On Premise Area Sale Manager immediately and follow accident policy as outlined therein.
Checks equipment daily, including vehicle fluid levels, and reports any maintenance or performance problems per FDAA; this includes cleaning equipment and vehicle as needed.
Performs such other duties as deemed necessary by the On Premise Manager.
Qualifications: Completion of Company sales training program. Computer and software skills are required (Microsoft Office and software specific to IPad use). The employee must have an understanding of basic office functions and decorum and possess in-depth knowledge of company products: every brand and package sold and benefits of each product, policies, procedures, and operations. Knowledge of state laws regarding the sale of alcohol and knowledge of sales techniques. Possess grooming and hygiene practices consistent with maintaining good customer relations.
Education/Experience: College degree or equivalent. Supplier training seminars and formal professional sales training preferred. Prior route sales experience.
Language Ability: Excellent sales skills and ability. Requires interpersonal skills adequate to communicate with, develop rapport, influence and persuade customers. Have the ability to articulate information or problems to management.
Math Ability: Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, as well as a knowledge of trade math to include margin and profitability calculations.
Reasoning Ability: Have the ability to make quick independent decisions.
Certificates and Licenses: Valid drivers’ license with a Clean driving record and ABLE permit (Oklahoma) or like credentials depending on state requirements for selling products containing alcohol.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Environment: Driving company vehicle and on customer premises Monday – Friday, Nights and some weekends are required. Schedule is flexible depending on completion of duties and is expected to be at night time promotions when needed.

Position requires occasionally sitting at a desk, routinely standing, walking, kneeling, bending, routine pushing/pulling and lifting/carrying of 26-50 lbs. and occasionally 160 lbs. While performing job duties, exposed to outside weather elements and to sudden temperature change when entering and exiting coolers. Drive a motor vehicle.
