LDF is looking for a Dynamic, Experienced, and Energetic On Premise Wine & Spirits Advance Sales Representative for our Kansas City area location. This team member works under general supervision to sell company products to licensed accounts, and perform other activities incidental to such sales, including rotating stock, some delivery of products and collection, maintaining customer satisfaction, caring for and maintaining of company equipment and communicating market trends and competitive sales information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Northeast Kansas off premise accounts. Assists sales department in opening new accounts. Manages and resolves conflicts with customers and key accounts.
- Oversees execution of monthly KPI objectives to aid in net sales plan in the Northeast part of Kansas. This includes but not limited to, daily account calls, promotions, events, menu features both by the glass, by the bottle, and cocktail - merchandising, and incentive targets.
- Determine, track, and communicate progress on monthly KPI focus items and new item distribution, including creating sales material to support these initiatives.
- Build team skills and strengths while establishing sound business practices to drive accountability and focus execution. Conducts sales training meetings for the sales team.
- Maintains updated non-buy list for all key packages and develops plan to improve performance.
- Provides coverage for sales staff during approved vacation timing as well as sick days.
- Maintains key account list and keeps a call frequency schedule, including business reviews and presentations for customers.
- Ensures strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and controls regarding sales activities and functions.
- Performs monthly FDAA inspections on all vehicles in their department.
- Performs other duties as determined by General Manager.
Qualifications: Completion of company sales training program. Basic word processing, spreadsheet, database management and computer skills are required. Have an understanding of basic office functions and decorum. Possess in-depth knowledge of company products, policies, procedures and operations. In-depth knowledge of every brand and package sold and benefits of each product. Have knowledge of state and federal laws regarding the sale of alcohol. Practice grooming and hygiene practices consistent with maintaining good customer relations.
Education/Experience: College degree or equivalent. Supplier training seminars and formal professional sales training preferred.
Language Ability: Excellent sales skills and ability. Requires interpersonal skills adequate to communicate with, develop rapport, influence and persuade customers. Possess the ability to articulate information or problems to management.
Math Ability: Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, as well as a knowledge of trade math to include margin and profitability calculations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to make quick independent decisions.
Certificates and Licenses: ABLE Permit (Oklahoma) or like credentials depending on state requirements for the selling products containing alcohol. Valid drivers’ license.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Environment: Driving company vehicle and on customer premises Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. Schedule is flexible depending on completion of duties and customer requirements.
