Summary
We are seeking a Fleet Manager to join our dynamic team at LDI. In this role, you will oversee the management of our fleet operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our service delivery. This position is crucial for maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules for all fleet vehicles to minimize downtime.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement cost-saving measures.
- Develop and manage budgets related to fleet operations and all administrative tasks.
- Train and supervise drivers involved in fleet management activities.
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prioritize loads according to urgency and importance. Following protocols and guidelines while making dispatch decisions. Set routes, monitor road closures and restrictions. Arrange and dispatch pilot vehicles as needed. Maintains constant monitoring of shipments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fleet management or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding fleet operations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in fleet management.
- Occassional Weekends based on Business Needs.
