We build state-of-the-art, 45-foot mobile command centers with satellite communications, SWAT and tactical vehicles, real life CSI trucks, Snap-on® tool trucks and more. This is a rare opportunity to join our team!
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Installation Technician to build and wire stand-alone electrical systems that power custom-built vehicles. This includes building and wiring control panels, switches, relays, breakers, control modules, power converters, inverters, solar powered systems, and generators.
Job responsibilities include:
- Using electrician and electronics skills to work on heavy duty vehicles
- Installing and terminating low and high voltage wiring.
- Running and terminating conduit.
- Laying out and building breaker/control panels.
- Installing touch screens and multiplex control modules.
- Installing electrical components associated with the vehicle systems.
- Installing lighting products and fixtures.
- Installing communication radios.
- Testing and troubleshooting all systems and equipment.
Requirements
Candidates should have these qualifications:
- Apprenticeship, Bachelor’s, or Associate’s degree in Electronics Or equivalent 2 years’ experience a plus
- Experience with power tools, wiring, and measuring is desired, but we are willing to train the right people!
- Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast-paced environment.
- Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, upholstery, and/or metal fabrication skills are a plus.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
