This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with our company in a new division established in 2024. As a DSD Delivery Driver/Sales Rep, you will be responsible for growing our territory in the Charlotte market as well as ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers while adhering to all DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations. This is a hybrid sales and delivery driver position that will report directly to the Director of DSD & On-Premises and DSD Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily delivery and/or selling duties in Charlotte and surrounding cities.
- Seek out new customer acquisitions to boost your paycheck with incentives.
- Load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle.
- Deliver products to customers along a specified route, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Follow all DOT/FMCSA rules and regulations to ensure safe and compliant operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professional communication with clients and customers.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Report any issues or delays promptly to the supervisor.
- Handle products with care to avoid damage.
- Merchandise products for customers, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are attractive and up-to-date.
- Maintain Point of Sale (POS) materials in the market to enhance product visibility.
- Upsell accounts by introducing new products and promotions to increase sales.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the team.
