What are the responsibilities and job description for the Animal Technician position at LE CHATEAU PET RESORT?
Responsibilities include:
Housekeeping dog suites/cat condos
Use washer/dryer to complete laundry
Exit cleaning suites and condos after departures
Setting up suites for arrivals
Cleaning cat condos and cat lounge
Scooping cats' litter
Scooping dogs' private yards
Take private yard poop trash to dumpster and replace trash bag
Washing dishes
Sweeping, mopping, and using floor machine to clean floors
Helping clients with pet luggage when entering and exiting the facility
Bringing pets to and from their rooms upon arrival and departure
Gathering all belongings according to the pets folder when getting them to go home
Assisting with evaluations as needed
Making pets comfortable in condos and suites
Setting cat lounge rotation schedule
Evaluating new cats
Occasional bathing of dogs
Occasionally lead tours of the facility for new clients
Rotate daily DVD on Premium side
Communicate via walkie-talkie when moving dogs throughout the facility
Communicate via Google Chat for team messages
Feeding lunches, treats, and complete enrichments
Administer medication as instructed
Assist in basic animal first aid
Must be comfortable with pets of every breed and size
Must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs. or more
Must be comfortable cleaning any animal bodily fluid
Job Type: Part-time
