POSITION Warehouse Associate

You will be responsible for performing a number of activities within the warehouse as directed, whilst meeting industry standards and company Key Performance Indicators (KPI) goals. You are a dynamic, hardworking individual capable of working well with others. You are a team player who welcomes new challenges. Your interest levels to learn are high resulting in lower training curves. You lead by example and you communicate effectively. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
Areas of responsibility include:
Receiving / Put away / Replenishment
- Receiving all inbound shipments in accordance with warehouse processes.
- Verify required inbound shipments, ensuring that all product is properly processed and put away in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining inventory accuracies.
- Replenish all warehouse replenishment work in accordance with warehouse processes.
- Ensuring that all product is properly processed and put away in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining inventory accuracies.
- Inventory / cycle counting:
- Review warehouse frequency and location setup daily (including fix locations, stocking limits, location directives, offsite locations).
- Ensure the warehouse is neat and well organized and that all damage product, product adjustments and reporting is maintained based on company processes.
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts as required
Returns
- Responsible for the accurate inspection and receipt of all returned product from customers, consumers, and warehouse due to warranty and/or damage issues.
- Ensures all paperwork and dates are properly recorded and processed in the correct data base and on proper forms.
Picking / Packing
- Picking, packing, and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with warehouse processes.
- Verify required outbound orders, ensuring that all product is properly processed in a timely and efficient manner while meeting all shipment and compliance requirements.
Shipping
- Verify outbound shipments, ensuring that all records and reports regarding warehouse shipping are prepared on a timely basis.
- Auditing all shipments and ensuring that all product is properly processed in a timely and efficient manner while meeting all shipment and compliance requirements.
- Value added-
- Pack and stage any sales order or set production that requires value added services (labeling, over box, kitting) in accordance with customer compliance.
- Verify required outbound sales orders, ensuring that all product is properly processed in a timely and efficient manner while meeting all shipment and compliance requirements.
Maintenance / Safety / Sanitation / Security
- Review warehouse operations daily to ensure the warehouse is neat and well organized and that damage to product, equipment, and the facility is prevented.
- Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 6 months prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Must possess the ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety
- Must have responsible work habits
- Available to work overtime; available to work any shift
Physical Requirements, include but may not be limited to:
- Must be able to walk, twist, crouch, balance, stoop, squat, use hands/arms-reach above shoulder level and maintain prolonged standing
- Must be able to use proper techniques to lift 50 pounds
EXTRA EXTRAS
- Requires basic familiarity with Microsoft office applications
- Prior demonstrated experience utilizing RF scanning equipment
- Certified previous experience operating fork lift equipment a plus
