POSITION Associate Manager, Retail – Merchandising and Operations

Supporting the management team, you ensure the store is a welcoming and shoppable space that exceeds customer expectations.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
Executes and ensures store standards are met and maintained, including visuals, signage, cleanliness, and accurate inventory management.
- Lead, mentor, and coach the store to elevate skills in merchandising and store operations.
- Ensure operational excellence through inventory accuracy, compliance with visual standards, and timely replenishment.
- Ensure the sales floor is stocked and engaging from a sales and tactical perspective while serving as a role model for sales associates in sales generation and service by prioritizing the customer experience.
- Reinforce customer service principles by coaching staff on their successes and challenges.
- Utilize selling essentials and training resources to educate the team on product, improve selling skills, and achieve business goals.
- Create and ensure a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity in accordance with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Ensure staff are educated on the day-to-day aspects of Merchandising and Operations, including the special order process and shipouts, to increase selling productivity while keeping a focus on proper ticketing and precise inventory management.
- Deliver sales and KPI targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Develop strong clientele relationships and routine outreach cadence.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2-3 years of previous retail management experience or management experience in a customer service or hospitality-related field.
- Strong time management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and appropriately manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Superior critical thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
- Full-time personnel are expected to be available to meet the needs of the business.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week, including two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and two closing shifts during the week (Monday to Friday).
