Main Purpose of the Role

The role is responsible for overseeing all commercial activities within Singapore, driving business growth, achieving revenue targets, optimizing retail performance, and ensuring the successful execution of our brand strategy in the market. This role involves strategic leadership, market development, customer relationship management, and ensuring the company’s competitive positioning in the local market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by managing sales pipelines and achieving sales targets.
  • Maintain very close contacts with the chain and big customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Implement sales strategy and build an effective sales apparatus based on the goals and resources LC agrees on.
  • Motivate and oversee retail operations towards result-creating activities and goals; assist them in customer projects.
  • Look for new potential opportunities and contribute to the further development of the company and its customer.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to align commercial activities with overall business objectives.
  • Follow up with key customers and own stores.
  • Budgeting, Retail and Wholesale : targets, costs, forecasts.
  • Estimate sales of goods and report to Demand / logistics.
  • Turnover, Margin and achieve Budget goal.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.
  • Achieve KPI together with our customer.
  • Ensure that all our customers have an experience of Le Creuset that satisfies all high expectations.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with local regulations and company policies.

Experience & Key Competencies

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in retail management.
  • Very strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving sales and profitability.
  • Experience in partnering with teams and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the local retail landscape, consumer behaviour, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a commercial and business education.
  • Refer to positive results from sales-oriented business.
  • Management experience from the Retail industry.
  • Relevant education in economics, sales, and marketing.
  • Must be able to work with the Microsoft Office Package, Super Office, or similar.
  • Must be a strong team player.
  • Have a solid financial understanding.
  • Driven to do well, be effective, achieve, succeed, and progress quickly.
  • Adaptability : Maintains effectiveness in varying work environments where circumstances and priorities are changing.
  • Analytical Reasoning : Analyses, interprets and evaluates complex information arriving at logical deductions and conclusions.
  • Communication (Oral Written & Listening) : Adapts his / her oral and written communications to audience and fosters clear and effective communication with others. Is able to build relationships and interact effectively across functions, seniority levels, personalities, and cultures with confidence. Actively listens. Displays accuracy and quality in his / her written work.
