We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HR Specialist with expertise in Service Contract Act (SCA) compliance to join our dynamic Human Resources team at Le'fant LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our organization's adherence to SCA regulations, managing employee relations, and supporting various HR initiatives.
">Key Responsibilities:
- SCA Compliance: Ensure company policies and practices comply with the Service Contract Act and other relevant labor laws.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding SCA-related queries and concerns. Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.
- HR Administration: Assist in the administration of compensation, benefits, and other HR programs, ensuring alignment with SCA requirements.
- Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees on SCA compliance and other HR-related topics.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with SCA and other regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, particularly those related to SCA compliance.
- Audits and Investigations: Conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with SCA and other labor laws. Support investigations into potential violations and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on SCA compliance.
- Hands-on experience with SCA reporting from start to finish.
- In-depth knowledge of the Service Contract Act and other federal labor laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting software. Particularly Paylocity and Unanet
- Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and security clearance processes is a plus.
