As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of the Assistant Chief Engineer is to provide primary support to the Director of Engineering by managing all hotel maintenance operations, including building maintenance, grounds landscaping and maintenance, guest room and public space maintenance, equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical systems, and life safety systems. This role assists in managing the budget, coordinates with contractors and vendors, and maintains an inventory of parts and equipment. A crucial part of this role is to supervise the day-to-day operations of the Engineering department, fostering a positive work environment by engaging, leading, and working alongside engineering associates in a friendly and professional manner.
