About the Job
We are seeking a friendly and efficient team member to serve guests while preparing coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic/alcoholic beverages along with a variety of food items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide personalized service to guests.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
- Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
- Take accurate orders, make recommendations, and leverage selling skills.
- Serve as a coffee expert, providing knowledge of menu items and preparation methods.
- Verify identification and age requirements for customers ordering alcoholic beverages.
- Complete training on Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handler Cards.
- Prepare, stock, and serve food items, following safety procedures.
- Maintain clean and sanitized bar areas.
- Routinely clean and upkeep espresso machines and brewing equipment.
- Process cash and charge transactions according to house procedures.
- Stock side stations with necessary items.
- Assist with stocking beverages, mixes, and food items.
- Attend brand training and follow operational policies.
- Report any issues or damage to management.
- Provide assistance to other team members.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a related role preferred.
- Experience working with specialized coffee bar equipment required.
- Basic federal, state, and local laws knowledge.
- English speaking or bilingual.
- Ability to operate a cash register and process credit cards.
- Basic mathematical calculations ability.
- Prioritization, organization, and judgment skills.
- Dependability.
