What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Brunch Cook position at Le Parfait Paris?
Le Parfait Paris is driven by the passion and precision of French pastry and reflects a culmination of inspired dishes, from flavorful macarons and freshly-baked croissants to baguettes and fruit tarts, using only the freshest ingredients all steeped in centuries-deep French tradition. The boulangerie strives to deliver high quality pastries and baked goods confected traditionally and made fresh daily.
Le Parfait - Downtown in San Diego is currently looking for a seeking a RELIABLE, Punctual, Meticulous, Organized and Fast morning lead cook with experience and a strong work ethic. We are located on 555 G street 92101 in CA.
The compensation is between $23 to 28/hours including tips
$18.50/hrs tips
Duties Include:
- Follow recipes in an organized and timely manner
- Bring on new menu items with details of food cost and process
- Make the mother sauces like Bechamel sauces and hollandaise sauce.
- Make poached eggs, sunny side up eggs, scramble eggs, potato, croque monsieur or croque madame
- Make crepes
- Keep the sandwich unit area stocked with full preps, and make sure to check and restock the items to maintain enough supply throughout the shift
- Have cutting skills (sliced, diced...)
- Follow and understand the appropriate food handling, safety and sanitation codes when cooking and cleaning
- Clean up station and take care of leftover
- Maintain a professional appearance throughout the entire shift
- Be friendly and professional with the customers and staff
Qualifications include:
- Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail
