Sales Manager Responsibilities
The Sales Manager is responsible for day-to-day sales and guest room reservations requests, focusing on building long-term, repeat, and value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives. This role also aims to maximize total revenue while meeting/exceeding hotel profit objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop appointment-oriented sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program
- Work with the corporate team to develop effective strategies to address room sales potential
- Capture competitor's accounts through networking & research to target and solicit new business opportunities
- Continually target and prospect for new business through telemarketing, individual creativity, and innovation
The Sales Manager is expected to lead by example at all times and stay visible to the team, assisting in building a culture of open communication, spending time with team members, and being available for them. They must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
