Bakery Manager

Le Quartier Bakery in Lincoln, NE is looking for a Full Time Manager To oversee Pastry, Dessert, and Gelato Departments. We are looking for someone with experience in Baking. Responsibilities will include Hiring new staff for your team, writing daily task lists, helping with product, coming up with products, mass production, checking quality control, updating staff and other locations with new information, being able to manage multiple departments and be a positive influence on your team, be a problem solver for your team if issues arise, being able to multitask and be patient with your team or other staff members when there is confusion. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated, a quick learner, reliable, a positive influence , and someone that is patient. Schedule can be flexible. Pay is based on experience. We are located on 6900 O St Ste 132.

Responsibilities

*Overseeing staff of three departments *Learning the basics of working in a high volume bakery *Maintaining a clean work environment *Maintaining a healthy work environment for all staff *Communication to all stores *Coming up with new product *Writing daily task lists *Hiring new staff *Checking Quality Control *Fixing or updating recipes

Qualifications

*2 year kitchen and/or manager experience preferred. *Food Handlers Permit *Weekend availability

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $19.00 - $21.00/hour.

The business began slowly by selling to local restaurants but soon grew with the start of the summer farmers markets and a few local grocery stores.
