Duties
- Provide a range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art.
- Stay updated on current trends and techniques in nail care and design.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Upsell additional services and products to enhance client satisfaction and boost salon revenue.
- Assist in store management tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with eyelash extensions, hair extensions, hair styling, and straight razor techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of color theory to assist clients in selecting appropriate shades is beneficial.
- Experience using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Basic understanding of retail math to assist with sales tracking and inventory management.
