Join Our Team as an Accounts Payable Clerk (Accounting Input Clerk)
Location: Columbus, OH (On-site)
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Are you someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and making sure every detail is just right? We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
In this role, you'll play a big part in entering invoices, tracking credits, and making sure daily business transactions are accurate and balanced. You’ll also help with organizing records, supporting audits, and maintaining cash drawers. If you're dependable, accurate, and looking for a great team to grow with—we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Entering invoices and tracking vendor credits
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Performing daily reconciliation of business transactions
- Balancing and maintaining the cash and change drawers
- Organizing and filing accounting documents
- Assisting with the annual audit process
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with accounting software and general ledger systems
- Comfortable working with confidential information
- Associate’s degree is a plus, but not required
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts payable
- Experience with HRIS or other accounting systems
- Technical accounting knowledge
