Summary:

The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals and their families. The Mental Health Professional participates actively in all relevant team, supervision, and general staff meetings, to enhance the services of Community Services Group. The Mental Health Professional reports to the Program Coordinator or Director.

This position is part of our Youth Mental Health (MH) Services Outpatient Services. Services are provided within the Hempfield School District.

Full time - 10 Month AND Year-Round positions available! Monday to Friday - school hours.

CSG is offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for these positions- the bonus will be paid at the successful completion of the 3-month probationary period.

Wage Information:

Starting salary: $43,333/yr (10 month), $52,000/yr (12 month). Salary negotiable based on experience and licensure.

Job Description:

• Provides treatment services to families including therapy, skills training, and education designed to enable families to care for their mentally ill or emotionally disturbed children in the home.

• Works closely with other mental health specialists, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, case managers, psychiatric nurses, school counselors, and behavioral health providers.

• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services in accordance with standards applicable to mental health professionals.

• Provide individual, family and/or group counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.      

• Provides on-call services as scheduled by the Program Director.

• Actively participates in clinical team and staff meetings.

• Provides clinical counseling in community settings, when applicable. 

• Collaborate with other professionals, but primarily works independently.

• Knowledge of behavior health diagnosis and coding for children/adolescent, adults, and the elderly.

• Ability to collaborate with the family and/or primary caregiver and/or other members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:

Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, psychology or related field, AND possessing a License in Social Work (LSW), Licensed Associate Professional Counseling (LAPC), License in Professional Counseling (LPC), Licensed Associate in Marriage and Family Therapy (LAMFT), or License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT).
