The candidate will use their troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to complete the service and strive for total client satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
· Perform chemical fume hood and biosafety cabinet testing and certification to ASHRAE 110 & NSF/ANSI 49 Standards.
· Perform calibrations, repairs and validations of laboratory equipment to ISO 17025 standards.
· Troubleshoot issues with equipment using various tools such as multimeters, thermometers, process calibrators.
· Complete all documentation associated with service order.
· Develop calibration procedures to meet the customer requirements while supporting traceability of the measurements.
· Maintain all equipment and standards per SOP's.
· Other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
· Minimum (2) years technical field experience with a proven track record of technical resolutions.
· NSF Biosafety Cabinet Field Certifier Accreditation preferred
· Minimum (1) year laboratory related experience
· Calibration experience in multiple disciplines (temperature, velocity, speed, mass, etc.).
· HVAC experience a plus.
· Working knowledge of NSF/ANSI 49, ASHRAE 110, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001 and OSHA preferred, but not required.
· Strong time management and task management abilities
· Able to effectively complete tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
Work Environment:
· Small-to-large office environment.
· Fast paced work environment.
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
· Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.
· Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, cleaning products and noise.

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of office and facilities equipment (cleaning products, tools, and ladders) and trash and the ability to safely use equipment provided. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Climb a ladder to perform repairs.
