JOB SUMMARY
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Cape Neurology Specialists offers a full spectrum of neurological services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Some conditions treated include:
- Acute and chronic pain
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- Headaches
- Multiple sclerosis
- Neuromuscular disease
- Parkinson’s disease
- Seizures
In addition to our Neurosciences Institute Epilepsy Center , patients have access to specialized care through our ALS clinic, a Certified Level 3 Epilepsy Center, and Spasticity Clinic. Saint Francis Healthcare System is also a Certified Stroke Center.

Certification & Licensures:
-Medical license in the State Basic Life Support (BLS).
-Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA.
-Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency program.
-Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships.
-Must be Board Certified within 2 years of hire date.
Responsibilities:
Join a Neurology group consisting of 5 physicians (2 are Neuro-Hospitalists), and 3 APPs
- Hospital has a Neurology floor and Neuro PIN unit
- EMG/NCS, EEG, autonomic testing, and vestibular testing available
- Ability to perform EMG/NCS is required.
- Work schedule: M-F, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- New patients: 30-minute appointment. Established patients: 15-minute appointment.
- Average number of patients a day: 18 – 22
- EMR: Epic
