Role & Responsibilities:
Brown Advisory is seeking motivated, team-oriented students from all backgrounds to participate in our investment analyst program. Analyst positions are available in select office locations and we strive to cultivate students who could succeed at Brown Advisory in a full-time role after graduation. Through participating in this entrepreneurial and self-directed project-based program, analysts have the opportunity to gain exposure to all sides of our investment business, including:
Private client portfolio management
Equity and fixed income research
Hedge fund research
Asset allocation and manager due diligence
Private equity and real estate
Institutional marketing and sales
Sustainable investing
Applicant Requirements:
You have a balanced resume with a demonstrated record of achievement, such as extracurricular activities or leadership roles.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset as well as the ability to proactively identify, execute, and manage projects of interest.
You have excellent communication and presentation skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
You are analytical, adaptive, a leader yet team player, as well as a multi-tasker.
You should have a genuine interest in finance, investing, and macro-level economics.
You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a demonstrated record of academic achievement.
Ability to work in our Washington DC office, five days a week.
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
Hourly: $25 - $35 per hour. Commensurate with experience and location.
