CyraCom, a leading language services provider, is looking for an Account Specialist who will oversee assigned customer accounts, create long-term, trusting relationships, and develop new business from existing clients by actively seeking growth opportunities. You will specialize in reaching out to potential customers, serving existing customers, and closing sales. Your book of business differs from an Account Manager in usage only; on average, the Account Specialist’s assigned customer accounts have less demand for language services. This position offers preparation, development and future progression to Account Manager. Successful candidates will be highly organized, customer focused, follow a consultative sales approach, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain professionalism in all circumstances.

Our clients span numerous industries, including hospitals, banks, insurers, entertainment companies, and government agencies.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Initiate and maintain contact with key personnel and facilitate proper information flow and communication between CyraCom and established customers.

  • Maintain files and records for accounts; input data into proprietary reporting systems.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers; present a professional image and demeanor when representing the company.

  • Support ongoing training and assist in retraining customer personnel in proper procedures for using CyraCom products and services.

  • In a proactive manner, look for ways to improve client language access program, anticipate customer needs, and offer creative solutions.

  • Actively participate in Marketing or Account Management campaigns and any client or prospect follow-up.

  • Work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with fellow Account Specialists, Business Research & Development Specialists, and across various departments.

  • Log client outreach into Weekly activity in SalesForce by logging meetings with clients (calls, emails, etc.) to help you meet your goals.

  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism and self-motivation using personal initiative to identify and recommend best practices.

  • Demonstrate a continued commitment to professional education and industry best practices.

  • Maintain accountability for revenue retention and growth of an assigned client base by building client relationships, assessing language services need, and expanding product portfolio in accordance with assigned account growth plan (minutes and revenue).

  • Maintain, create, and develop all proposals, contracts, and education efforts for assigned business accounts.

Who you are:

  • Skilled in the use of spreadsheet and database applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to competently operate common office equipment, including, but not limited to, computer, fax, copier, tablet, smart phone and telephone system.

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent; post-secondary college or technical school education in Business Administration, Business of Science, Software Engineering, Networking or directly related field preferred.

  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible customer service/account management experience in a quota-carrying environment including strong personal computing, smart phone and tablet skills; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Demonstrated client management skills.

  • Superior customer relations skills.

  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity and ethical standards.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize work and manage competing priorities.

  • Ability to remain flexible while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have experience:

  • Completion of a Four (4) year college degree BA or BS

  • Sales experience within a healthcare related field.

  • This role typically starts at an annual salary of $45,000.00 - $47,000.00, depending on experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Requires sitting or standing for extended periods

  • Extensive use of a computer and repetitive hand movements in the performance of duties

  • This position is sedentary, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.  This position is required to continuously sit, talk, hear and see; frequently stand, walk, finger (computer keyboard), and feel (touch).
