Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of IT systems, security protocols, and hardware management. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level support for all workstations and Windows servers, including setup of new user accounts and permission settings.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot user problems and computer networks to ensure seamless functionality.
- Develop and implement effective security strategies for software systems, networks, and hardware.
- Monitor for external intrusions and attacks, and manage system security to ensure data integrity and protection.
- Manage and maintain company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, as well as install and maintain software and telecommunications equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with advanced certifications a plus.
- Two years of experience in computer-related roles, with a strong understanding of programming languages, operating systems, and software applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain a cooperative attitude and assist fellow employees in any work that expedites the business of the cooperative.
Working Conditions:
Usual office conditions, regular hours with scheduled overtime. Must be able to lift and carry PCs and related PC equipment, and operate in such a manner that a safe and hazard-free working environment is always maintained.
