THE ROLE
LEAD Charter School seeks an exceptional Technology Coordinator to join our mission-driven community. The Technology Coordinator (TC) will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s technology systems ensuring the efficiency of computer systems to meet all staff and student academic needs. The TC will be responsible for setting up new technology, maintaining technology and troubleshooting all technological issues for the organization. The Technology Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating technology initiatives that will help support student learning through the use of technology.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor of computer science, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent field experience
- Certification in IT related field
- Strong working knowledge of office equipment and computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Strong working knowledge of manadaging LMS and SIS
- Success in developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.

- Urban school-based work experience preferred or demonstrated a commitment to closing the achievement gap.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Coordination & Support
- Develop/update technology plans and technology guides with guidance from the school leader(s) or supervisor.
- Maintain accurate technology process charts and documentation to allow for effective technology systems.
- With the support of outside services provide, install, manage & troubleshoot all information technology including laptops, computers, printers, projectors, interactive boards, local servers, and IS’s.
- Manage user emails, web resources subscriptions, authentication accounts, etc.
- Support SIS - Powerschool courses, student enrollment, schedules, data exporting and data report with the support of the school leader(s) or supervisor
- Maintain IT request systems from request to follow-through.
- Provide in-service and training to staff on a wide variety of computer hardware and application software.
- Assist in the evaluation, recommendation, and acquisition of new technologies into the district program.
- Assist staff with internet access; facilitate other telecommunications access through network devices, assessments and evaluation systems, and parent communications systems.
- Maintain accurate log of distribution and maintenance of devices and software applications
- Provide technical assistant, device distribution, and log in access to new staff during onboarding
- Work collaboratively with perspective teams to ensure technical support during local/state assessments and during the Recruitment Intake and Enrollment process
- Coordinate with teachers to integrate technology into learning experiences
- Carryout other technology tasks delivered by the school leader or supervisor, as they arise
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- 12-month employee.
- Salary to be recommended by the LEAD’s Management Team and approved by the Board.
EVALUATION
- Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation.
