Location: LEAD Primary School (Pre-K- 4th)
Reports To: Principal Position
Announcement Date: March 3, 2025
Work Term: 187 Days
Starting Salary: $47,600.00 (Board approved salary schedule based on rank, certification, and experience)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide a counseling program favorable to assisting students, faculty, and community members. Handle all 504 duties.
- To motivate students to develop academic skills
- To establish effective rapport with students
- To establish a positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Alabama Teacher’s Certification, Master’s Degree or higher, with an endorsement in school guidance and counseling (preferred), classroom experience (preferred)
- Ability to assess and utilize student data
