Associate Financial Representative- (Insurance Operations Focused)
Our client, an award winning wealth management and financial planning practice in Midtown, is looking for an Associate Financial Representative to help the team run an efficient practice. The right candidate should have strong attention to detail, possess great organizational skills and create a first class client experience. The right candidate should be familiar with the onboarding and underwriting experience for the insurance side of a client’s plan.
Main responsibilities:
· New Client Onboarding and Risk Management/Insurance Operations:
- Process insurance applications
- Guides clients through the underwriting process and communicates with clients about next steps in the process
· Assisting clients with acceptable service and triaging risk management questions.
· Maintain Status Report and call clients who need to pay their bill. Also updating service requests, beneficiary changes and other client planning needs.
· Serve as a liaison between the clients and the insuring company.
· Schedule medical exams and Attending Physician’s Statements
· Update client files in the CRM system
Other Tasks (but not limited to):
· Triaging Emails for Owner of the practice
· Calendar and scheduling
· Various research and other projects for the practice
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Preferred financial services and insurance experience
- Life and Health Insurance license (or must obtain in first 60 days)
· High attention to details and organizational skill
· Superior verbal and written communication skills
· Capable of working interdependently with others and effectively providing feedback to team members
Salary: $60-70k base
Location: In Midtown office
