Position Summary
Okland Construction is seeking a mid to senior-level Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience translating complex functional and technical requirements into custom Microsoft Power Platform-based applications. You will create engaging end-user experiences using low-code development technologies, leveraging modern tools such as SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with project and technical leads to develop plans, perform estimations, and conduct code and design reviews. You'll work on projects that tackle modern business operation workflow challenges, building automated business processes and SharePoint/M365 sites with a user-centric design. Your expertise in app development, analytics best practices, and accessibility will ensure a seamless front-end experience across browsers, platforms, and devices while maintaining high security and accessibility standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver services and solutions for Okland employees and clients as part of the Power Platform Team, utilizing Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dynamics, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations.
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts on various projects and solutions.
Design and develop PowerApps (model-driven and canvas apps).
Troubleshoot and resolve user pain points using problem-solving skills.
Install and configure data gateways and connect to organizational data sources for Power BI report and dashboard development.
Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand Microsoft 365 capabilities.
Design and implement end-to-end solutions to improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
Identify and optimize Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint processes for enhanced efficiency.
Work in an Agile team setting, utilizing Jira for task tracking and documentation.
Review team members’ code, architecture, and documentation, providing constructive feedback.
Develop system design documents and architectures to support ongoing projects.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience (an additional 6 years of related technical experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree).
Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Strong .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a SharePoint Site Owner and/or Site Collection Administrator.
Minimum of 2 years of business systems analysis and support experience.
At least 1 year of Office 365 development experience utilizing PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
Experience with SOA/web services design and programming.
Experience with SharePoint 2016, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with these preferred skills will be given priority consideration:
Experience developing business applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Experience working with large datasets.
Familiarity with Azure platform services.
Experience with C# and Visual Basic for Scripting.
