Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Corps Members. In this role, you will engage in meaningful service projects that benefit the community while gaining valuable skills and experience. Corps Members will work collaboratively with fellow team members to address community needs, promote social change, and foster personal growth. Members will begin September 8th, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with WorkSource staff, employers, and community organizations to align training with local job market needs and trends.
- Plan and deliver engaging digital skills training sessions to job seekers, focusing on key competencies such as job application processes, resume building, and navigating online job search tools.
- Assist job seekers in utilizing digital platforms and tools to apply for jobs, track their applications, and follow up with employers through email or job portals.
- Identify gaps in digital literacy among job seekers and tailor instructional support to meet their individual needs, ensuring all participants are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed.
- Maintain accurate records of digital skills training activities and individual progress, and contribute to the reporting and analysis of training outcomes.
Experience
- Previous experience in community service, volunteer work, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
