Senior Web Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that enhance user experience and drive business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while ensuring best practices in coding and development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of custom WordPress websites, ensuring exceptional user experiences and responsive designs.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to implement visually stunning and highly functional websites.
• Develop and optimize eCommerce platforms using Shopify, WooCommerce, or other tools as needed.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6 ), and modern frameworks.
• Implement animations, interactivity, and performance optimization techniques to elevate user experiences.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with front-end trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve processes and deliverables.
• Work to integrate APIs and third-party services seamlessly.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence within the team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript
• Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, React JS , Interact JS
• Experience in AI in coding and web development
• Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and Shopify
• Expertise in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, minification)
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for web development
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe XD
• A strong portfolio showcasing your front-end development work.
• Experience with managing a team of web developers
• An eye for detail and a passion for creating stunning user experiences
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug efficiently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with ease
• A proactive, self-driven approach to learning and tackling challenges
• Experience with PHP and backend WordPress development
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• UI/UX design
• Craft CMS experience
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of accessibility standards

Experience

• 5 years of professional experience in front-end web development (Required)
• College Degree or Experience (Preferred)

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
