Qualification, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements
Director Certification or Degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred! Experience of at least 2 years in a Quality Rated, as well as a CACFP setting is a plus. First Aid/CPR required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise teacher-leaders and childcare workers
- Hire and train new staff members and ensure all background checks and fingerprints have been processed
- Provide professional development opportunities for staff & facilitate trainings
- Conduct classroom observations to assess teacher-leader performance
- Establish policies and communicate them to staff and parents
- Develop educational programs and standards
- Maintain instructional excellence
- Assist staff in communicating with parents and children
- Meet with parents and staff to discuss scholar performance
- Prepare budgets and allocate program funds
- Ensure facilities and materials are maintained and cleaned according to state & center guidelines
- Attract Prospective Clients
- Demonstrate flexibility
Qualification, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements
- Proven experience in leadership
- Impressive understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms and learning centers
- Excellent communication, and coaching skills
- Ability to partner with parents and community members to benefit all scholars
- Cool-tempered, friendly, and dependable
- Balance between an inventive mind and a practical acumen
- Certification in child CPR
- BS/BA in education or relevant field
