We are seeking Accounts Receivables Auditor and Collections Specialist to become part of our team!

Your responsibilities will include :

Key Responsibilities :

Process incoming customer payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and credit card payments.

Research and resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes.

Prepare and send customer invoices and statements.

Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and identify potential risks.

Initiate collection efforts on past-due accounts, including phone calls, emails, and letters.

Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and payment transactions.

Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis.

Prepare reports on accounts receivable activity, including aging reports and collection statistics.

Assist with month-end closing procedures.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers.

Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.

Close out Conservice tracking log with final collection percentages.

Audit squire postings to ensure all payments received are posted.

Audit payment plans for Conservice and Move out balance to confirm compliance.

Reconcile late fee tracker

Audit AR files (move ins, renewals, lease, updates, etc) for accuracy.

Create and update monthly audit results for training and compliance breaking down the properties error percentage

Notify the AR manager of audit results which require AR staff correction

Audit Availability Reports for properties on a periodic basis. Ensure vacancy and pricing are correct.

Audit nightly reports for properties on a periodic basis. Ensure occupied, net exposure and Lease percentages are listed correctly.

Property staffing training. Visit and offer training to property staff when potential weak areas are discovered during audit of files.

Audit property master worksheets and Yardi Unit Type Worksheets periodically.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for this role include :

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi) preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
