Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location : Fort Worth, TX 76102
Position Type : Direct Hire
Shift : 3rdShift (Monday-Friday / 11pm to7 : 30am)
Pay : $25.00 - $35.00an hour
SUMMARY :
LEAD Technicalseeksatrue multi-craft Industrial Maintenance Technician to support ourmanufacturingclient inFort Worth, TX. The Maintenance Technician's responsibility within the Maintenancedepartment is to provide outstanding customer service to the production andsupport groups in the plant through thepreventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair,andupgrading of plant processing, packaging, filling, and infrastructure systems.This position will NOT be the type of maintenance position where you sit in the shop waiting on a call. It will be 99% out on the floor,being proactivewhilediagnosing, repairing, andperformingPM on equipmentand facilities.
This multi- craftMaintenanceTechnicianisresponsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLCs, VFDs, servos, complex safety controls, electro-pneumatics, modulating control valves, flowmeters, temperature transmitters, pressure transducers, level transmitters, etc,some with sophisticated control schemes.
PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITY :
- Maintain the plant in a safe and reliable condition in compliance with allapplicable corporate, state, and federal codes.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic filling,cooking, packaging equipment, forklifts, and utilities.
- Making machine adjustments to mechanical and electrical systems for properoperation.
- Utilizing electrical / mechanical skills with utility systems.
- Ability to machine and weld parts, experience with reading blueprints,electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, experience with pumps, motorsandAC / DCdrives,PLC / controlsystem operations, andknowledge of the use ofprecision tools / instruments.
- Must be strong in control troubleshooting with somePLCprogrammingability and experience.
- Knowledge of boiler systems, sanitary welding, andanyfood manufacturingexperience is a plus.
