The Armed Security Officer is responsible for the safety and welfare of facility clients, contract staff, community-based organizations, and outside agencies. Security Officers are expected to respond competently to any situation that may arise while supporting the client. We are looking for professionals with a high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to work felexible hours.
Requirements:
- Must possess current BSIS Guard Card
- Must possess current BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit
- Must possess permits for any less lethal equipment.
- Full duty belt preferred:
- Bullet Resistant Vest preferred.
- Must possess Firearm.
- Level 3 Duty Holster preferred.
- Mace/Pepper Spray preferred.
- Baton preferred
- Handcuffs preferred.
- Must Possess a minimum of HS Diploma or GED
- Must be proficient in reading, writing and communicating in English.
- Minimum 1 year experience performing the duties of an armed security officer preferred.
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States
